Karen Lee Zimmerman, age 75, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Martha’s Assisted Living in Princeton, WI.
Karen was born October 4, 1945 in Ripon, the daughter of Ralph and Dorothy (Wizner) Zimmerman. Karen worked for many years in the print and dye department at Fabriko. She also worked at Wayside Restaurant and owned her own cleaning business. Karen enjoyed spending her time gardening, decorating, refinishing furniture and crafting. She also loved to stop at garage sales and visit flea markets.
Survivors include her sisters, Marty Wilson and Kristine Zimmerman both of Green Lake, WI; brothers, Earl (Linda) Zimmerman of Eau Claire, WI and Richard (Toni) Zimmerman of Princeton, WI; sister-in-law, Louise Zimmerman of Milburn, OK; nephews, Brian and Bret; and nieces, Stephanie, Jessica and Shelby. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Dorothy Zimmerman; brother, Thomas Zimmerman; and brother-in-law, Joseph Wilson.
A private inurnment for Karen will be held on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon, WI. A memorial is being established in her name.
