Karen Ann Weege, age 70, of Princeton, WI, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021, at Thedacare Regional Medical Center in Neenah, WI.
Karen was born May 8, 1951, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Thomas and Janet (Tuma) Keogh. She worked as a LPN at various home care agencies and assisted livings. She had a very kind heart and helped anyone in need. Karen enjoyed spending time with her family, talking on the phone to her longtime friends, Linda and Michael, and baking desserts for her grand kids.
She left behind her husband of 40 years, Clyde “Butch” Weege; her two daughters, Carrie (Damon Harris) Sowieja and Shelley (Rico) Myszewski, and a son, Daniel (Claire Sobolik) Sowieja: adopted children, Rich Evans of Minnesota, Benjamin Weege of Oak Creek, Adam Weege of Princeton, John Weege of North Carolina, Rebekah Weege of Arizona, Becca Weege of Oak Creek, Josh Weege of Chippewa Falls; her sister, Maureen (Jay) Prill; nephew, Jason (Lizzie) Prill; nieces, Katie Lotson and Heidi; brother, Pat (Brenda) Koegh; neice, Leslie, and nephew, Douglas; ex-daughter-in-law, Sue Sowieja; grandchildren, Alana (Jamie) Williams, Destiny (Michael Mahoney) Harris, Megan Sowieja, Ali Sowieja, Esma and Greta Myszewski and many other loving relatives. Karen was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Gary Sowieja; grandmother, her brother, Joseph; sisters, Melissa Weege and Shata Weege and grandson, Zachary Harris.
