Justine Ann Lietz, age 60, of Green Lake, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Thedacare Medical Center in Berlin.
Justine was born November 4, 1957, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Jacqueline (Leach) Simmers. On July 15, 1986, Justine married the love of her life, Scott Lietz. Justine lived a life full of family, love, and adventures. She was most proud of her daughters and grandchildren – but took the opportunity to meet new people and find new places regularly. Those that knew her understood her love of creating, cooking, and her newest hobby, camping. She will always be remembered dancing the nights away to Elton John with her family and friends.
Survivors include her two daughters, Star (Jamie Beach) Lietz of Green Lake, WI and Loni (Ryan) Meiborg of Green Lake, WI; three grandsons, Caleb and Blake Meiborg and Erik Brockman; parents, Joseph and Jacqueline Simmers of Green Lake, WI; in-laws, Elmer and Jacqueline Lietz of Chicago, IL; two brothers, James (KC) Simmers of Green Lake, WI and John Simmers of Bristol, WI; sister, Joy (Bob) Head of Gurnee, IL; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Pamella (Chuck) Maes of Chicago, IL, Kenneth (Char) Lietz of Chicago, IL, brother-in-law, Ronald (Wendy) Lietz of Chicago, IL and sister-in-law, Michelle (Eddie) Booth of Chicago, IL. Justine is further survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Scott Lietz, CFD.
Visitation for Justine will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018, from 10 – 1:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
A Celebration of Life for Justine will be held on Monday, June 11, 2018, at 1:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. Memorials may be directed to Green Lake Area Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 86, Green Lake, WI 54941 or Green Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 337, Green Lake, WI 54941.
