June Kehl

June E. Kehl, age 84, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017, at Tower View Villa in Rosendale, WI, with her family by her side.
June was born on June 5, 1933, in Oshkosh, WI, the daughter of Harvey and Viola (Lyness) Thomas. She attended high school in Oshkosh. On November 6, 1954, she married Wayne Kehl, and he passed away on February 23, 1979. June worked at Parkview Care Center, which is now Fountain View Care Center, in Ripon, and held many positions including housekeeping, laundry, and helped in the kitchen. She was known as “June Bug” by many close friends. June was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church of Ripon, and also the Pickett Horse Club. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, and putting puzzles together, as well as gluing and framing them. June also loved gardening, flowers, crafts, but most of all she cherished family get togethers and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
June is survived by her four children: Robin (David) Roeder of Ripon, WI, Cindy (Gary) Kumbier-Borgers of Eldorado, WI, Mike (Jane) Kehl of Pickett, WI, and Douglas Kehl of Redgranite, WI. She is also survived by her grandchildren and their families, Brad (Tina) Roeder of Green Lake, WI, and their son, Jason; Kelly (special friend Robert Davidson) Roeder of Ripon, WI; Candie (Mike) Stevens of Oshkosh, WI, and their children, Paris, Legend, and Halo; Robbie (Emily) Kumbier of New London, WI, and their son Axtyn; step-grandson, Tyler Borgers; Cordell Kehl of Pickett, WI, and step-grandchildren, Kevin and Brady Baldry of Omro, WI; a brother, Harvey “Jr.” Thomas and a sister, Nancy Kind both of Oshkosh, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. June is preceded in death by her parents, Harvey and Viola; husband, Wayne; granddaughter, Kristy Roeder; a brother Duane Thomas; a sister, Jeanette Diakoff; nephew, Randy Thomas; sisters-in-law Amber Thomas and Paulette Thomas; and brothers-in-law, Eugene Kind and George Diakoff.
A visitation for June will be held from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Sunday, October 29, 2017, at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 401 W. Fond du Lac St., Ripon, WI, 54971, and again from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, October 30, 2017, also at the church.
A memorial service for June will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 30, 2017, at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon, with Rev. Michael Morning officiating. Inurnment at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon will take place at a later date. A memorial for June is being established.
