Judith Lee Avery, age 77, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2013, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Judy was born on April 19, 1935, in Milwaukee, the daughter of Byron and Clara (Witt) Lange. She graduated from Milwaukee Lutheran High School. Judy was a homemaker and a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon. She was a strong woman with an enduring faith who loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, John Avery of Ripon, WI; six children, Kurtis (Patricia Stevenson) Trede of Chicago, IL, Kelly (Mike) Udell of Kaukauna, WI, Jonathan (Kathy) Avery of Apple Valley, MN, Joel (Stephanie) Avery of Fall Creek, WI, Robert (Lisa) Avery of Lakeville, MN and Stephen (Sandy) Avery of Cranberry, PA; twelve grandchildren, Clara, Ella, Colin, Hannah, Logan, Chance, Riley, Lexie, Sophia, Olivia, John, Jude and one on the way; two sisters, Bonnie (Brian) Heidel and Sandra Tills; many nieces and nephews and two grand puppies, Marley and Bea. Judy was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law, Jack Tills.
Visitation for Judy will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2013, from 10 – 12:00 pm at Messiah Lutheran Church, 500 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral service for Judy will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2013, at 12:00 pm at Messiah Lutheran Church in Ripon. Reverend Bryan Fritsch will officiate. Interment will take place at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. Memorials may be directed to Messiah Lutheran Church, 500 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
