Juan Martin Rivera, age 34, of Ripon, WI, passed away Monday, October 11, 2021, at St. Mary’s Hospital in Madison.
Juan was born October 22, 1986, in Leon, Guanajuato Mexico, the son of Raymundo and Roza Rivera. He graduated from Ripon High School. Juan enjoyed spending time with family, nieces and nephews. He enjoyed bike riding and listening to music. His hobbies were crafting and drawing and he loved his mother’s cooking. Juan had a big heart and was always making friends with people that crossed his path. He was always willing to give a helping hand to others even if it was just someone he had just met. Even though Juan didn’t have kids of his own, he had the role of an uncle that he took very serious. Juan was a great uncle that was always there for his nieces and nephews. He was a great brother and a great son.
Survivors include his parents, Roza and Raymundo Rivera of Ripon, WI; paternal grandmother, Maria Ignacia Gonzalez Vera; siblings, Cesar (Sandra) Rivera, Luz (Elda) Rivera, Mariana Rivera, Luis (Maria) Rivera, Maria (Leo) Pizano all of Ripon, WI, Claudia Rivera of Chicago, IL and Rosa (Dakota) Heschke of San Clemente, CA; nieces and nephews, Adrian Rivera, Victoria Rivera, Araceli Pizano, Santiago Rivera, Cassandra Rivera, Sebastian Rivera, Abel Pizano, Isabella Rivera and Andres Rivera all of Ripon, WI. He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Jose` Guadalupe Valdivia and Victoria Anguiano and paternal grandfather, Sotero Rivera.
Visitation for Juan will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 11 – 3:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Juan will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 3:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Reverend Erik Boulier officiating. A private family inurnment will take place at Garden of the Cross Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial is being established in his name.
We love you Juan and it’s not goodbye, but a see you later.
