Jose Antonio Rodriguez-Vazquez, age 44, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022.
Jose was born January 4, 1978 in San Pablo 13, Distrito Federal, Mexico, the son of Raymundo and Martha Margarita (Vazquez) Rodriguez. Jose worked for many years as an interior and exterior painter and was very skilled at his work. He also enjoyed sports cars, attending car shows, and playing x-box with his children. Jose was a devoted family man and dreamer; he lost the battle to cancer before he could turn his dreams to reality, proving that only God knows his plan.
Survivors include his parents, Raymundo and Martha Margarita Rodriguez of Mexico City; wife, Romelia Rodriguez of Ripon; daughter, Denisse (David Vallejo) Rodriguez of Memphis, TN; son, Anthony Rodriguez of Memphis, TN; stepson, Luis Angel Rodriguez of Buckeye, AZ; stepdaughter, Liani Rodriguez of Ripon; stepson, Christian Cabrera-Rodriguez of Ripon; stepdaughter, Josephinne Salinas (fiancé Sisco Hollard); stepson, Jimmy (Krissy) Salinas of Buckeye, AZ; grandchildren, David Vallejo, Aranza Vallejo and Valentina Vallejo; brother, Gustavo Rodriguez; and sister, Maria Del Rosario Rodriguez, both of Mexico City. Jose is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and many other family members. Jose was preceded in death by his brother, Raymundo Rodriguez.
A visitation for Jose will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
A prayer service for Jose will be held on Sunday, January 23, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Rev. Davies Edassery officiating. An additional prayer service and interment for Jose will follow in Memphis, TN, where much of Jose’s family is located. A memorial is being established in his name.
