John P. Mullowney, age 65, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac, WI.
John was born December 26, 1956 in Tomah, WI, the son of John T. and Donna (Buschman) Mullowney. He graduated from Ripon High School in 1975 and married Cynthia Wagner in 1976. John owned his own livestock trucking company, Mullowney Livestock. He was a cattle dealer and hauler for nearly 40 years. John was also a sports enthusiast, and enjoyed playing softball and watching the Brewers, Badgers, Bucks and Vikings.
John is survived by his son, Patrick (Carla) Mullowney of Ripon; son, Matthew Mullowney of Berlin; grandchildren, Kelisha, Preston, Alyssa and Maddox; and great-grandson, Aiden. John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Donna Mullowney; wife, Cynthia Mullowney; and brother, Dan Mullowney.
A visitation for John will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 from 9 – 10:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
A prayer service for John will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 10:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, with Father Tony Thirumalareddy officiating. Inurnment will follow at Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake, WI. A memorial is being established in his name.
