Joan Nault, D.D.S

Joan F. Nault, D.D.S., age 86, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Ripon Medical Center.

Joan was born July 12, 1934, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Joseph and Bessie (Mrazik) Motzko. She graduated from Messmer High School in Milwaukee and went on to further her education at Marquette University, where she earned her D.D.S. On April 22, 1957, Joan married Howard B. Nault, Sr. in Milwaukee. She owned her dental practice and enjoyed her occupation and the connection with her patients for 56 years.

Joan was a member of Ripon Rotary, AAUW and Girl Scouts. In her earlier years, she enjoyed playing the piano and organ and in her later years, she enjoyed watching classic movies. Joan was a very giving and generous person. Her real passion in life was her kids and grandchildren.

Survivors include her three children, Howard Nault, Jr. of Ripon, WI, Kevan Nault of Ripon, WI and Stephanie (Angelo) Fallucca of Mequon, WI; grandchildren, Johnathan and Kaitlyn Nault, Giovanna and Michael Fallucca and Philip Nikitin; daughter-in-law, Kelly Nault; great-grandchild, Hannah Nault; sisters, Kathleen Motzko and Karen Mendelsohn; brother-in-law, James (Christine) Nault and nephews, Michael, Andrew and Matthew Nault and Kurt Wagner; sister-in-law, Agnes Motzko and nieces, Lisa (Zack) Hamilton and Kim Kellner. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two daughters, Jonelle and Nicole; brothers, Joseph, Jr., Kenneth and James Motzko; brother-in-law, Jerry Mendelsohn and nephew, Kenny Motzko.


Due to the Covid-19 crisis, a private Memorial Mass will be held for Joan at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church with Reverend Robert Fictum officiating. Inurnment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. A memorial is being established in her name.
