Jerome Miller

September 14, 1929 — May 7, 2005

Jerome Eugene Miller, age 75, of 965 Grove St., Ripon, passed away May 7, 2005 at Theda Clark Medical Center, Neenah.

Jerry was born September 14, 1929 in Beaver Dam, a son of Herman and Nora (Justman) Miller. He graduated from Mayville High School and married Phyllis Wolf on July 21, 1951 in Hartford. Jerome served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was self employed as the owner and manager of three area feed mills. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Ripon and served on the church council for three terms. He was a past member of the Ripon Lions Club and the American Legion of Ripon. Jerry had played drums for the Normie Doggs polka band and had a lifelong passion for polka music.

Survivors include his wife Phyllis of Ripon; son, Thomas Miller of Janesville; two daughters, Toni (James) Dimpfl of Kaukauna and Terri Miller of Neenah; two grandchildren, Sarah and Margaret Dimpfl of Kaukauna; sisters-in-law, Mary Lou Reabe of Almond, WI, LaVerne Owens of Iron Ridge, WI, Elaine (Juno) Graf of Ripon and Mitzi Wolf of Pike Lake, WI; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2005 at Grace Lutheran Church, Ripon with visitation from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Pastor Alan F.
