Jeannette B. Terril, age 97, of Markesan, WI, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2020 at Markesan Resident Home.
Jeannette was born May 17, 1923 in Almond, WI, the daughter of Edward and Stella (Bennett) O’Keefe. She married Dale R. Terril in 1946. Jeannette was a 5th grade Catholic school teacher for 30 years. She was also a member at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon.
Survivors include her three children, Diane Riggs of Hayward, CA, Joanne (Bob) Kleisner of Ripon, WI and David (Cathy) Terril of Luray, VA; five grandchildren, Janmarie Besaw, Rob Kleisner, Chris Kleisner, Nathan Terril and Justin Riggs; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Robert O’Keefe; one brother-in-law, Donald Terril of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale R. Terril; granddaughter, Joan Elizabeth Riggs; and nine brothers and sisters.
A private family prayer service will take place on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Rev. Davies Edassery officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon, WI. A memorial is being established in her name.
