Jarid Kumbier

Jarid Robert Kumbier, 16 months, of Ripon, WI, passed away on July 1, 2000, in the arms of his mother, surrounded by his family and friends following a fight against brain cancer. Jarid had touched the hearts of everyone he had met.

Jarid was born March 6, 1999, in Oshkosh, WI, the son of Robert and Vicki (Niemuth) Kumbier. He was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church of Pickett and the Pickett Horse Club.

Jarid is survived by his parents, two half brothers, Jeremiah Luben of Clintonville and Robbie Kumbier of Ripon; two half sisters, Candie Kumbier of Ripon and Chrystal Luben of Pickett; grandparents, Edward and Arline Kumbier of Pickett and Shirley Niemuth of Appleton and numerous aunts and uncles.

A memorial service for Jarid will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2000, at 2:30 pm at Grace Lutheran Church in Pickett with Reverend Russell W. Kloehn officiating. Friends may call on Thursday from 12:30 pm until the time of the service at the church. A memorial has been established in his name.
