Janice Brockman

Janice Rochelle Brockman, age 81, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac with family by her side.

Janice was born December 11, 1934, in Wonewoc, Wisconsin, the daughter of Fred and Julia (Miller) Urban, Jr. She graduated from Elroy High School in Elroy, WI. Janice worked at Speed Queen as a laborer for over 40 years. She was a strong member of United Steelworkers of American Local Union 1327. Janice enjoyed playing Bridge with her Bridge Club and volunteer at Ripon Medical Center.

Survivors include her son, Joel (Janie) Brockman of Ripon, WI; her daughter, Shanda (Randall) Farr of Waupun, WI; grandchildren, Matt (Ashley) Wallace, Jeremy Brockman, James (Theresa) Brockman, Tim (Nitasha) Wallace, Rebecca (Bob) Walters, Damian (Ashley) Farr, McKenzie Farr and Austin Farr; great-grandchildren, Erik, Olivia, Layney, Andrew, Callen, Marley and Grayson and three sisters, Joanne (Fredrick) Klett and Judy Kay Lovell both of Beloit, WI and Helen Jean McDonald of Elroy, WI. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Julia; grandson, Sgt. Andrew Wallace and cousin, Pat Schultz.

Visitation for Janice will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016, from 2 – 6:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral Service for Janice will be held on Monday, February 29, 2016, at 6:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Clay R. Salmela will officiate. Cremation will follow. A memorial is being established.
