Janet Tillema Minor, age 66, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, August 3, 2013, at her home with her family by her side.
Janet was born May 26, 1947, in Beaver Dam, WI, the daughter of John and Lorene (Young) Tillema. She graduated from Markesan High School. On June 15, 1969, Janet married David Minor in Markesan, WI. Janet worked as an administrative assistant/office manager at Wisconsin Business Development Corporation, Oshkosh, WI. She was a member of First Congregational Church, UCC, in Ripon.
Survivors include her husband, David Minor, Ripon, WI; sons, Aaron (Jennifer) Minor, children Maxwell and Ella, Phoenix, AZ; Ellis (Emilee) Minor, daughter Adele, Sussex, WI; Isaac Minor, Reston, VA; brother, John (Georgia) Tillema, Winneconne, WI; along with family and many friends. Janet was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Keith Schweder.
Visitation for Janet Minor will be held Wednesday, August 7, 2013, from 4:00-7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Thursday, August 8, 2013, from 10:00-11:00 am at First Congregational Church, UCC, 220 Ransom Street, Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Services for Janet Minor will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013, at 11:00 am at First Congregational Church, UCC, in Ripon. Reverend Joanna D’Agostino and Brian Smith will officiate. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in the City of Ripon. Memorials may be sent to Ripon Education Foundation, Attn: Sue O’Brien, 850 Tiger Drive, Ripon, WI 54971.
