James C. Paddock, age 69, of Markesan, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016, at Appleton Medical Center, Appleton, WI, with family by his side.
James was born on August 3, 1946, the son of Stanley “Pete” and Eleanor (Jahn) Paddock. He was employed at Mercury Marine for 35 years. James was a member of the Oshkosh Earth Science Club. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, being in the outdoors, fishing, hunting, rock hunting, and collecting memorabilia.
Survivors include; two children, Brian (Angie) Paddock of Markesan, WI, Carrie Seymer (Rob Malzhan) of Ripon, WI, and three grandchildren, Peter and Joey Paddock, both of Markesan, and Elizabeth “Elli” Seymer of Ripon, and a sister, Patricia (Donald) Dallman of Markesan. James is further survived by nieces, nephews and many beloved friends, and cherished loved ones B. Marie Myrick, Lee, JT, Corina, Brenda, Victoria, Samantha, Lestor and Sophia. James was preceded in death by his parents, aunts and uncles.
Visitation for James will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016, 10 – 11:00 am at Terrace Shores Evangelical Free Church, W3278 Cty Rd K, Markesan, WI 53946 (On the shore of Big Green near County Park).
Memorial Service for James will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016, at 11:00 am at Terrace Shores Evangelical Free Church in Markesan. Pastor Gary Zacharias will officiate. Potluck lunch to follow at the Manchester Senior Center, N1645 School St., Markesan, WI 53946 (In Manchester).
Inurnment will take place at a later date at Markesan Memorial Cemetery in Markesan.
