James "Jim" T. Falk

James “Jim” T. Falk, age 67, of Ripon, WI passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at home, with his loving family by his side after a long and brave battle with cancer.

Jim was born in New Berlin, WI, on February 23, 1958, son of Lawrence and Mary Ellen (Andresen) Falk. He graduated in 1976 from high school in New Berlin. He began working at Alliance Laundry after moving to Ripon, and dedicated nearly 30 years there. On January 4, 2014 he married Anne (Rasmussen) Abhold in Waupaca, WI. Jim was faithful and devoted to the Catholic Church. He also was loyal to the Republican Party; loved his fantasy sports; and enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He had a passion for hunting and fishing. It was important to him that his funeral did not interrupt hunting season. Jim enjoyed birds, gardening, traveling, and the beauty of nature everywhere. Autumn was his favorite season. Jim’s family (especially his grandchildren) and friends were most important to him.

Jim is survived by his wife, Anne Falk of Ripon, WI; a son, Ryan Falk of Combined Locks, WI; a daughter, Amanda (Josh) Aspland also of Combined Locks, WI; grandchildren, Abraham and Violet Falk and Sophia Claire Aspland; siblings, Mark (Lori) Falk, Greg (Sue) Falk, Tree Lang, Mary Beth (John) Ludin, Larry (Lisa) Falk, and Kris (Ernie) Schilling; as well as many nieces; nephews; friends; and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Mary Ellen Falk.

Visitation for Jim will be held from 9:00 am until 10:45 am on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 228 E. Blossom St., Ripon, WI 54971. A eulogy from Jim’s family will take place at 10:45 am until Mass begins.

Mass of Christian Burial for Jim will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon, with Fr. Chuck Wrobel officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon. In lieu of memorials, please go to your local Blood Drive and donate.

Jim’s family would like to express their sincere appreciation for Dr. Jones, Mary, Denise, and the whole team at Ripon Medical Cancer Center and SSM Health Cancer Center in Fond du Lac, WI for their consistent, considerate and amazing dedication over the past 6 1/2 years. A special thank you also for the professional and compassionate care from Rachel and the Green Lake Hospice team. Jim was a walking miracle thanks to their hard work, Jim’s iron strong will, and most importantly the will and gift from God.
