James "Beez" A. Beier

James "Beez" A. Beier, age 74, of Ripon, WI passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison surrounded by the love of his family.

Beez was born on April 23rd, 1952 in Ripon, son of Kenneth and Pearl (Gneiser) Beier. He graduated from Ripon High School and continued his education at Edison Community College in Fort Meyers, FL, where he enjoyed playing baseball. His claim to fame was rooming and becoming friends with Fuzzy Zoeller.

On August 25, 1973 he married his high school sweetheart, Jennifer Seidl. Together they shared more than 5 decades of marriage.

Beez worked for almost 40 years as the VP of Petroleum for Condon Companies. In his retirement he worked part time bartending at Tall Paul's, where he enjoyed the friendships he made.

Outside of work, Beez loved spending time on the golf course and cheering on his favorite teams. He rarely missed the opportunity to watch the Milwaukee Brewers, who held a special place in his heart. He even had the opportunity to play on the Brewers field. He is also an avid supporter of the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers and Milwaukee Bucks.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer Beier; his daughters, Megan (Kevin) Meyer and Sara (Adam) Simonis; and his seven grandchildren, Ian, Wes, Emma, and Dekker Meyer, and Laila, Milee, and Lennon Simonis. He is also survived by his two sisters, Kathy(Keith) Fredrick and Barb Pretasky; and two sister in laws, Barb Seidl and Gloria Seidl. His humor, stubbornness, and love will be missed by all who knew him.

He was proceeded in death by his parents; Kenneth and Pearl Beier; parents-in-law, Jim and Patricia Seidl; and brothers-in-law, David Seidl and Bud Pretasky.

Visitation for Beez will be held on Monday June 15th, from 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon WI 54971.

A private memorial service for immediate family members will take place following the visitation at the funeral home, with Rev. Clay R. Salmela officiating.
