Jack M. Marshall, age 94, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at his home, with his family by his side.
Jack was born in Racine, WI on October 7, 1930, son of Bob and Wilma (Hansen) Marshall. He graduated form Washington Park High School in Racine, and went on to further his education at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI where he received his bachelor’s degree. From there Jack earned his master’s degree in mathematics from UW-Parkside, also in Kenosha. In 1960 he married Margaret Katibian in Waukegan, WI. Jack taught middle school mathematics in Racine for many years and was a great asset to his grandchildren as they went through school and had math related questions. He was a great dad and grandpa in general, always interested in what they were doing and attending any sporting or school event they had. 2016 was a great year for Jack as he was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed watching them win the World Series. Jack had a passion for fly fishing, to the extent that he had to give up a linen closet to store all his feathers. He also had a love for his Beagles, especially Sammy I and Sammy II. In his younger years he played softball and basketball, and later enjoyed his lazy Sundays watching Nascar and football. Jack will be truly missed.
Jack is survived by his daughter, Kristine (Jeff) Boehm of Green Lake, WI; grandchildren, Jake (Jessica) Jensen-Cordoves of Menomonee Falls, WI and Sara Jahnke of Green Lake, WI; and great-grandchildren, Zion, Xavier, Gabriel, Laila, Sydney, Jagur, Sienna, and Sophia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Wilma Marshall; and his loving wife, Margaret Marshall.
Per Jack’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. Inurnment for both Jack and Margaret will take place at Dartford Cemetery at a later date.
