Irma Dufty, age 94, of Ripon, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, at Maple Crest Manor in Ripon.
Irma was born September 1, 1923, in Ripon, WI, the daughter of Fritz and Alvina (Goldsmith) Hammerling. She graduated from Ripon High School. Irma married Floyd Spielvogel. He passed away and later Irma married Delmar Dufty. She worked for Ripon Knitting Works and in the gift shop for R-Line Foods. Irma was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. She also enjoyed helping the Ripon Fire Department when they had special events.
Survivors include her daughter, Patsy (Craig) Nissen of Grafton, WI and granddaughter, Nicole Nissen of Cedar Lake, IN. Irma was preceded in death by her parents, Fritz and Alvina Hammerling; two husbands, Floyd Spielvogel and Delmar Dufty; one brother, Billy Hammerling and sister, Marion Boetcher.
Visitation for Irma will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, from 10 – 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Irma will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with Reverend Dr. Kevin P. Mundell officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Utica. A memorial is being established in her name.
