Irene Margaret Miller, age 93, of Ripon, WI passed away on Monday, December 20, 2021.
Irene was born June 5, 1928, in the Town of Taycheedah, Fond du Lac, WI, the daughter of Alois and Gertrude (Nett) Schneider. On November 3, 1951, she married Eugene Miller. They were married at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake, WI. Eugene passed away on July 19, 2018.
Irene was a homemaker most of her life and they farmed many years. She loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a wonderful wife, fantastic mother and loving grandmother. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Irene is survived by her daughter, Jeanne (Jim) Zahn of Rosendale, WI; grandsons, Matthew (Colleen) Zahn of Clarendon Hills, IL and Noah (Barb) Zahn of Fond du Lac, WI; great-grandchildren, Nicolette, Zachary, Layla and Lucy Zahn; three sisters, Katie Nest of Ripon, WI, Mary Jane Salm of Menasha, WI and Barb Mickelson of Neenah, WI; two brothers, Vern Schneider of McAllen, TX and George (Pat) Schneider of Neenah, WI; sisters-in-law, Karen Schneider of Neenah, WI, Marilyn Albrecht of Rosendale, WI and Julie (Tom) Stellmacher of Ripon, WI; brothers-in-law, Tom Putzer of Ripon, WI and Bob Miller of Fond du Lac, WI; Godchildren, Teresa (Rod) Clauss of Birnamwood, WI and Gwen Schneider of Deerfield, WI. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; her parents, Alois and Gertrude; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Melvin and Lucille Miller; two brothers, Robert Nett and Ferd Schneider; sister, Lil Putzer; sisters-in-law, Joan Schneider, Cleora Nett and Marilyn Miller; brothers-in-law, Dan Mickleson, Donald Nest and George Albrecht; Godchild, Mary Basler and nieces and nephews.
Visitation for Irene will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, from 9:30 – 10:30 am in the chapel at Ledge View Memorial Park, N6250 County Truck K, Fond du Lac, WI 54937.
Prayer Service for Irene will be held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at 10:30 am following the visitation in the chapel with Father Robert Fictum officiating. Entombment will follow at Ledge View Memorial Park & Shrine of Rest Chapel Mausoleum. A memorial is being established.
