Ian C. Brink, age 30, of Madison, WI, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Monday, April 10, 2017.
Ian was born on September 13, 1986, in Ripon, WI, the son of John Brink and Deanna (Deis) Brink. He graduated from high school in Fond du Lac, WI. Ian was talented, even gifted beyond his own recognition. He was a beautiful soul that brought infinite love and light to every person he has ever met. His gift was his smile, his hugs, and his love that radiated from him. Ian saw the good in anyone. He had an incredible gift and passion for music, he could pick up any instrument and instantly play and compose music that would fit the moment. Ian was also an amazing cook, and self-professed chef of ghetto gourmet. He leaves us with his infectious smile and memories which will never fade. Shine on!
Ian is survived by his father, John Brink of Ripon, WI; his mother, Deanna Brink of St. Louis, MO; grandparents, Alvin and Patricia Brink of Ripon, WI, Vernon and Sandie Dill of Stuart, FL, and Sondra Deis of Mountain Home AR; aunts and uncles, Christopher Brink of Oshkosh, WI, Sean (Amy) Stark of Mebane, NC, Michael (Elizabeth) Mueller of Winneconne, WI, David Deis of St. Charles, MO, Julie Brooks of Maryland Heights, MO, Geoffrey Dill of St. Charles, MO, Gregory Dill of Harford, CT; cousins, Alyssa, Ashlyn, and Ellie Stark of Mebane, NC, Henry, Hudson, and Presley Mueller of Winneconne, WI, Heather Deis McGuire, Payton, Parker, Jordan, Brayden, and Tyler Dill; and many others who called him “brother.” He is preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Arnold (Evelyn) Wittenbach, Harold (Jean) Roedema, Ollie (Forrest) Lichte, and Vernon and Anita Dill.
A visitation for Ian will be held from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Friday, April 14, 2017, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI, 54971, and again from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Trinity Evangelical Free Church, 777 Harvey St., Ripon, WI, 54971.
A funeral service for Ian will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Trinity Evangelical Free Church, with Pastor Paul Ethington and Pastor Casey Getz officiating. A memorial in Ian’s name is being established.
