Henry Allen Henkel

Henry A. Henkel, age 62, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2026, at his home, with his family by his side.

Henry was born on April 26, 1963, in Hartford, WI, son of the late Henry and Ruby (Peterman) Henkel. Henry owned and operated his own small engine repair business, specializing in lawn mower repairs. On February 14, 2015, Henry married Holly Kalbes, in Berlin, WI. He loved music and animals, and always enjoyed a good game of disc golf.

Henry is survived by his wife, Holly; son, Henry Henkel; step-daughter, Angela; step-sons, Phillip and Jacob; grandchildren, Finn “Henry,” Aubrey, and Holden; sisters, Jeannie and Laurie; brother, Robert; daughter-in-law, Christina; nephews, Shawn and Casey; niece, Greta; other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Ruby; step-father, Ned; brother Roger; and sister-in-law, Carol; as well as his grandparents.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. A memorial is being established in Henry’s name.
