Hazel Minch, age 79, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, January 30, 2016, at Ripon Medical Center.
Hazel was born October 9, 1936, on the family farm in Green Lake County, WI, the daughter of Rheinhold and Pauline (Keplin) Feder. She graduated from Ripon High School in 1955. In 1963, Hazel married Gordon Minch in Ripon. In her earlier years, she was a secretary for Admanco and in later years a housewife. Hazel was an active member of Hillside Assembly, teaching Sunday school and was a Childrens Church Leader. She was also a member of the Christian Womens Club of Ripon. Hazel was a former member of Ripon Auxillary and a volunteer for the Red Cross at Ripon Medical Center.
Survivors include her husband, Gordon Minch of Ripon, WI; two sons, Steven (Lori) Minch of Ripon, WI and John (Cori) Minch of Green Lake, WI and her daughter, Karen (Thomas) Krumenacher of Pewaukee, WI; seven grandchildren, David (Rachel), Samantha and Kyle Minch, Chloe, Owen, Broden and Emmett Krumenacher, one great-grandson, Everett Minch and one great-granddaughter, Abigail Minch. She was further survived by one sister, Evelyn Mantik of Ripon, WI, brothers-in-law, Darold Strege of Waupun, WI and Ralph Gitzel of Ripon, WI; sister-in-law, Elaine Olson of Green Lake, WI and many nieces and nephews. Hazel was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and five sisters.
Visitation for Hazel will be held on Friday, February 5, 2016, from 4 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Saturday, February 6, 2016, from 10 11:00 am at Hillside Assembly, 656 W. Oshkosh St., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Hazel will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2016, at 11:00 am at Hillside Assembly in Ripon. Reverend Erik Boulier and Pastor Dan Gibson will officiate. Interment will follow at Garden of the Cross Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial is being established in her name.
