Gladys Anna Nickel, age 85, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2017, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Gladys was born June 13, 1932, in Dalton, WI, the daughter of Carl and Bessie (Schonasky) Robinson. She worked as a seamstress for Fox River Glove in Ripon.
Survivors include her son, William (Donna) Nickel of Plainfield, WI and daughter, Rosaland Nickel of Ripon, WI; two granddaughters, Jessica Nickel of Ripon, WI and Jonie (Michael) Mathiesen of Berlin, WI and two great-grandchildren, Johnathan and Nevaeh Mathiesen of Berlin, WI. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Bessie Robinson; daughter, Gloria Nickel and sister, Violet Hansen.
A visitation for Gladys will be held from 10:00 until 11:00 on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI, 54971.
A funeral service for Gladys will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home. Reverend Donald Deike will officiate. Interment will follow at Mackford Union Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Mackford. A memorial is being established in her name.
