George R. Pucker

George R. Pucker, age 71, of Van Dyne, WI, passed away on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at Hospice Home of Hope, in Fond du Lac, WI, surrounded by his family.

George was born on October 7, 1953, in Fond du Lac, WI, son of Raymond Pucker and Marjorie (Henning) Olson. He graduated from North Fond du Lac High School in 1972.

George was a taxidermist for over 20 years and owner of GP’s Taxidermy. George was a fantastic artist specializing in deer mounts. He was an avid hunter and sharpshooter. During his free time, George enjoyed spending time with his family, spending time outside, watching movies, rebuilding classic cars, and grilling the largest steak he could find.

George is survived by his life partner of 37 years, Susan Rumlow; son, Andrew (Emily) Pucker; daughter, Angela (Brock) Winkler; grandchildren, Sophia and Oliver Winkler; brothers, Richard (Carol) Pucker, Tom (Patti) Pucker, John (Laura) Pucker, and David (Margaret) Olson; many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond; his mother and step-father, Marjorie and Stanley Olson; and nephew, Edward Pucker.

Visitation for George will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral service for George will take place at 3:00 PM on Monday, September 15, 2025, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, in Ripon, with Pastor Karin Derenne officiating. Interment will follow at Rosendale Cemetery, Hwy 26 S., Village of Rosendale, WI.
