Genevieve LaVan Genocchio, age 6, of Ras Tanura, Saudi Arabia, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017.
Genevieve was born at Baycare Clinic in Green Bay, WI, on November 2, 2010, the daughter of Anthony and Nena (Jones) Genocchio. Her family moved to Saudi Arabia in 2011. Genevieve was a kind little girl. She enjoyed swimming like a mermaid, singing, dancing like a ballerina, playing dress-up, cuddling, drawing, and playing with friends, especially her sisters. Her favorite place was the tire swing in their backyard. She also played the violin, practiced karate, and loved hearts, rainbows, unicorns, fairies, and flowers.
Genevieve is survived by her parents, Anthony and Nena; twin sister, Nimue Liana Genocchio; sister, Nerissa Oriana Genocchio; maternal grandparents, Kathryn Jo Auck of Wild Rose, WI, and John Leslie Jones of Wautoma, WI; paternal grandmother, Marion Jane Genocchio; and great-grandmother, Elizabeth Dunbar both of Aberdeen, Scotland. She is further survived by aunts; uncles; and cousins.
A visitation for Genevieve will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 am on Friday, June 9, 2017, at Terrace Shores Evangelical Free Church, W3278 County Road K, Markesan, WI, 53946.
A funeral service for Genevieve will be held at 11:30 am on Friday, June 9, 2017, at Terrace Shores Evangelical Free Church, with Pastor Gary Zacharias officiating.
