“Neither grave nor marker should there be - just keep me in your memory”

Frederick “Fred“ John Silbernagel of Ripon, WI, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at the Ripon Community Hospital.

Fred was born on October 18, 1937 in Minneapolis, MN, the son of William and Edith (Sandstrom) Silbernagel.
He graduated from Patrick Henry high in 1955 and continued to further his experience working for various companies as a mechanical draftsman, a designer and inventor. On October 27, 1956 he married Sharon Lu Figgins in Minneapolis, MN. Shortly after their marriage they both carefully studied the Bible and became Jehovah’s Witnesses in 1963. Sharon passed away on November 11, 2014. He never ceased to have a passion for his art, drawing and writing of poetry. Fred was a devoted husband & father who will be truly missed.

Fred is survived by three daughters, Cindy (Jeff) Haines of River Falls WI, Susan (David) Sevcik of Ripon, WI. and Jennifer Earthborn Lee of Bozeman MT, and a son, Fred (Yvonne) Silbernagel Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK. Seven grand children, Robert Sevcik of Seattle, WA, Chris Haines of Bay City, WI, Jessie Solon of Bozeman, MT, Kelli Morales of Saint Paul, MN, Carrie Schwanke of Patterson, NY, Lander Solon of Laramie, WY, and Sage Smith of Oklahoma City, OK, and also great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Edith, his wife Sharon, and six siblings.

A Memorial Service for Frederick will be held Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 11:00 am Central Standard Time will be held by a Zoom Meeting. Please click on the link below to join the live memorial service.
