Fern J. Wagner, age 92, of Ripon, WI, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2018 at Prairie Place in Ripon.
Fern was born on May 20, 1926 in Ripon, the daughter of Frank and Ethel (Stellmacher) Ninneman. On June 8, 1947 she married Willis Wagner at First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon. Willis passed away on March 11, 1996. Fern worked at Ripon Printers as well as Ripon Knitting Works. She enjoyed her time with the Oshkosh Line Dancers and was an active, very devoted member of Our Saviour's United Church of Christ in Ripon.
Fern is survived by one sister, June Hall of Campbellsport, WI; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ethel Ninneman; husband, Willis Wagner; two brothers, Darwin Ninneman and Palmer Ninneman; and three sisters, Joyce Ziesmer, Gladys Retzlaff, and Beatrice Rajeck.
A graveside service for Fern will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, at Garden of the Cross Cemetery, Ripon, WI, with Rev. Dr. Kevin P. Mundell officiating. Inurnment to follow. Memorials in Fern's name may be directed to Agnesian Hospice Hope, 745 South St., Suite 4, Green Lake, WI, 54941.
