Everdeen E. Bice, age 85, a lifelong resident of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at Fountain View Care Center.
Ev was born in Ripon on June 21, 1931, the daughter of William and Wilhelmina “Minnie” (Zank) Meyer. She graduated from Ripon High School. In 1949, Ev married Ralph D. Bice, Sr., who passed away in 1990. She attended Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon. Ev’s family was most important to her and she loved them more than anything.
Ev is survived by her children, Jeff Bice of Ripon, WI, Kandi West of Oshkosh, WI, Annette (Brian) Peppler of Ripon, WI, and Melissa (Joe Brandner) Bice of Plymouth, MN; grandchildren, Eric (Hana) Bice of Bali, Nicole (partner, Andrew Felt) Bice of Madison, WI, William (Heather) Peppler of Pickett, WI, Brett (Melissa) Peppler of Milwaukee, WI, Emily Peppler of Oshkosh, WI, and Nicholas Brandner of Plymouth, MN; a great-grandson, Jase Peppler; nieces; nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ralph D. Bice, Sr.; her parents; two sons, James Bice and Ralph D. Bice, Jr; a brother, Lawrence Meyer; a sister, Irene Miller; and a son-in-law, Steve West.
A visitation for Ev will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 am on Friday, February 3, 2017, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI, 54971.
A funeral service for Ev will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, February 3, 2017, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, with Reverend Clay R. Salmela officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of the Cross Cemetery in Ripon, WI. Memorials in Ev’s name may be made to AIDS Resource Center, 3716 W. Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee, WI, 53208.
