Evelyn G. Weiss, age 89, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Markesan Resident Home.
Evelyn was born October 24, 1931 in Gardner, ND, the daughter of Rollen and Lena (Andersen) Friend. Evelyn was a devoted housewife and mother to her children. She enjoyed playing golf, driving tractors, mowing the lawn and gardening. Evelyn loved to crochet, and over the years, she crocheted afghans for all her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was also a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church for many years.
Survivors include her sons, David Page of Neshkoro, WI, Duane (Ingrid) Page of Waynesville, NC and Douglas (Amy) Page of Saukville, WI; step-daughters, Janet (Jim) Townsend, Donna (Gordy) Spaulding, Pat Mehn, Carol Keck, Shyla (Dennis) McClelland and Janet (Dave) Rickert; grandchildren, Pam (Karl) Goldbeck, Ben Martens, Breah Page, Drew Page, Carter Page, Carson Page, Emme Page, Josh Reetz and Tony Townsend; and brother, Ken (Barb) Friend. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Page, Gale Kaufman and Edgar Weiss; father, Rollen Friend; mother and step-father, Lena (Ed) Menke; and daughter-in-law, Michelle Page.
A visitation for Evelyn will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021 from 4 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
A funeral service for Evelyn will be held on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, with Rev. Harsha K. Kotian officiating. A graveside service for Evelyn will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 at 10:00 am at Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake, WI with Rev. Harsha K. Kotian officiating. A memorial is being established in her name.
