Eugene “Gene” R. Handshy, age 81, of Crivitz, WI, passed away on Monday, September 16, 2019 at NewCare Assisted Living in Crivitz.
Gene was born in Green Lake County, WI on November 7, 1937, the son of William and Martha (Dallman) Handshy. He worked at Wrought Washer Manufacturing in Milwaukee for 28 years until his retirement. Gene enjoyed fishing and was an avid deer hunter.
Gene is survived by his siblings, Pauline Hammerling, William (Shirlene) Handshy and Ruth (John) Guderski; sister-in-law, Arlene Handshy; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Martha Handshy; a brother, John Handshy and a brother-in-law, Bill Hammerling.
Visitation for Gene will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Gene will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Reverend Clay R. Salmela officiating. Interment will follow at Mackford Union Cemetery, Town of Mackford, WI.
