Eugene W. Gray, age 75, of Ripon, WI, passed away on January 25, 2017, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon.
Eugene was born at home in the township of Lowville, WI, on August 15, 1941, the son of Joseph and Beatrice (Lafler) Gray. His first marriage was to Hazel (Rowley) Gray. His second marriage was to Linda (Reichenberger) Gray in 1973. He worked at Badger Lumber and Guernsey Dairy in Oshkosh, and later at Ripon Good Cookies where he retired.
Eugene is survived by his children, Pamela Ubrig and Phillip Gray both of Oshkosh, and Wanda Marie Britt of Chesapeake, VA; his adopted daughters, Michelle Gray of Green Bay, WI, and Lisa (Roy) Ferrel of Ripon; 5 grandchildren, Mitchell (Alyssa) Ubrig, Aron (Jen) Gray, Kiley and Justin Gray, Amanda Mink, and Lucas Ferrel; 4 great-grandchildren, Landon and Peyton Ubrig, and Amedeus and Alex Gray; two brothers, Joseph Gray of Portage, WI, and Richard (Phyllis) Gray of Oshkosh, three sisters, Rosetta Gray of Portage, WI, Joanne Wruck of Pardeeville, WI, and Barbara Shaw of Sun Prairie, WI; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends, including Kim Pinch of Ripon. He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda; both parents; and a brother, Cecil Gray.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 4, 2017, at Reeds Corners Bethel Cemetery, Town of Metomen.
