Esther Elsie Raasch, 86, of Neshkoro, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2011, at Juliette Manor in Berlin, with her family at her side.
Esther was born on April 19, 1925, in Ripon, the daughter of Albert and Nellie (Kehl) Weich. She attended Ripon schools and went on to work at the Knitting Works in Ripon. On May 29, 1942 she married Alfred Herbert Raasch in Dubuque, IA. Esther was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church in Princeton. She loved traveling, fishing, hunting and playing cards.
Survivors include her husband, Alfred of Neshkoro, three sons, Ronald (Pat) of Princeton; Jerald (Sue) of Oshkosh; and Terry (Kelly) of Neshkoro, eleven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Esther was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Harold, Lenard and Elmer and one sister, Linda.
Visitation for Esther E. Raasch will be held on Monday, May 16, 2011, from 10-11:00 a.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, 202 Farmer Street in Princeton, WI 54968.
Funeral Services for Esther E. Raasch will be held on Monday, May 16, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church in Princeton, with Pastor Bob Busse officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Black Creek Cemetery, Town of St. Marie, Green Lake County. A memorial is being established in her name.
