Erika “Riky” A. Mlodzik, age 25, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 at University Hospital in Madison, WI.
Riky was born on June 26, 1993 in Ripon, the daughter of Ricky and Ann (Speier) Mlodzik. She graduated from Ripon High School in 2012 and went on to Moraine Park Technical College where she received a degree in Culinary Arts. During her time at Moraine Park, she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society. She was also a lifelong member of Girl Scouts of America, receiving the title of Ambassador. Riky loved to dance, enjoyed reading and cooking, and had a passion for anything Disney. She was an entrepreneur in the jewelry business, selling Paparazzi Jewelry.
Riky is survived by her parents, Ricky and Ann Mlodzik of Ripon, WI; a brother, Ted (special friend, Micaela) Mlodzik; paternal grandmother, Beverly Mlodzik; maternal grandmother, Audrey Speier; aunts, Ellen Speier and Cheri Speier-Pero; uncles, Ron (Sue) Mlodzik, Randy (Barb) Mlodzik, and Rob (Lynn) Mlodzik; and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Richard Mlodzik; maternal grandfather, Norbert Speier; uncle, Mark Speier; aunt, Sophie Speier; brother and best friend, Radar Love.
Visitation for Riky will be held from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm on Monday, December 17, 2018 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI, 54971, and again on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 9:30 am until 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 228 Blossom St. in Ripon. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Riky will be held at 10:30 am on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 228 Blossom St., Ripon, WI, 54971, with Rev. Robert A. Fictum officiating. Inurnment will take place at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery at a later date. Memorials in Riky's name may be directed to Make-A-Wish Foundation, 100 W College Ave #50e, Appleton, WI 54911. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and staff of University Hospital in Madison, who provided unmatched care to Riky.
