Ella A. Heidel, age 105, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at Kindred Hearts in Green Lake.
Ella was born November 19, 1916, in the Town of Brooklyn, WI, the daughter of Herman and Anna (Kobernick) Deibert. She was educated in Green Lake County and graduated from Green Lake High School. Ella worked for Social Services as a receptionist and then retired after 19 years as an Administrator Assistant. On February 25, 1945, she married Donald Edward George Heidel in Green Lake. She was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Green Lake, American Ladies Auxiliary #3306, the ladies aid of the church and a member of the Business and Professional Women’s Club. Ella enjoyed sewing, cross stitch, word search, playing Bingo and gardening.
Survivors include three sons, Wayne (Patricia) Heidel of Omro, WI, David Heidel of Green Lake and Bruce (Mary) Heidel of Fond du Lac, WI; four grandchildren, Jennifer Barbian of Omro, WI, Micah (Brook) Heidel of Omro, WI, Sarajane (Andrew) Schmidt of Brownsville, WI and Melissa (David) Renderman of Fond du Lac, WI; seven great-grandchildren, Evelynn, Reagan and Orion Heidel, Kaleb and Gracen Barbian and Zachary and Delilah Renderman. She is further survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald; two brothers, Daylert and Edward Deibert and sister, Dorothy Doepke.
Visitation for Ella will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 10:30 – 11:30 am at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 440 Lake St., Green Lake, WI 54941.
Funeral Service for Ella will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 11:30 am at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Green Lake with Pastor Nick Haasch officiating. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. A memorial is being established in her name.
