Elaine M. Reilly, age 86, of Ripon, WI, passed away Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Whispering Pines in Ripon.
Elaine was born in Ripon on February 2, 1935, the daughter of Clarence and Genevieve (Tetzlaff) Kuehn. She graduated from Ripon High School in 1953. On April 14, 1956, she married James Reilly at the Evangelical United Brethren Church in Ripon. James passed away in 2003. Elaine worked as a teacher aide at the school in Ripon and later as a bookkeeper at the Ripon College bookstore. She was also a Hospice volunteer for several years. Elaine was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon as well as Zion United Methodist Church in Neshkoro, WI and very active with several organizations within the churches. In her younger years, she enjoyed making crafts, traveling, and loved camping. Elaine cherished time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Elaine is survived by her children, Daniel (Julie) Reilly of Wausau, WI, Diane Reilly of Stevens Point, WI, David (Marisa) Reilly of Laramie, WY, Kelly Reilly of Oshkosh, WI, and Christopher Reilly of Neshkoro, WI; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; a sister, Alice Uecker of Ripon, WI; a brother, Ed (Sheri) Kuehn of Green Lake, WI; and several nieces and nephews. A very special thank you to Jenny Reilly for all her care of Elaine over the years.
Elaine was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Genevieve Kuehn; husband, James Reilly; a brother, Carl Kuehn; two nephews, Robert and Jeff Uecker; and a brother-in-law, Alan Uecker.
Visitation for Elaine will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971, and again on Saturday, May 29, 2021, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 401 W. Fond du Lac St., Ripon, WI 54971.
A funeral service for Elaine will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at Immanuel United Methodist Church, 401 W. Fond du Lac St., Ripon, WI 54971, with Rev. Harsha K. Kotian officiating. Inurnment will take place at a later date at St. Mary's Cemetery, Springvale, WI. Memorials may be directed to Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon; Zion United Methodist Church, 200 E. Bluff St., Neshkoro, WI 54960; or the American Heart Association, 300 S. Riverside Plaza, Ste 1200, Chicago, IL 60606, in her name.
