Edna T. Kenas, age 89, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, October 10, 2000, at Parkview Care Center.
Edna was born on March 28, 1911, in Green Lake, WI, the daughter of William and Helena (Eichman) Puhl. She attended grade school in Green Lake and graduated from Ripon High School and Oshkosh Business College. Edna married Fred Kenas on November 28, 1935, in Ripon and she was a housewife and a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ as well as a past member of Home Makers.
Survivors include her husband, Fred, one daughter, Judy (Larry) Gregor of Lodi, WI, one granddaughter, June (Dan) Seabrook of Longwood, FL and two great-grandchildren, Allison and John. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services for Edna will be held on Friday, October 13, 2000 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon with Reverend Rebecca Johnston officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 am in the Chapel of the church. Interment will follow in Hillside Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established in her name.
