Doris Wallner

Doris M. Wallner, age 88, of Berlin, WI, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2017, at Barrett House in Ripon, WI.

Doris was born in North Dakota on October 17, 1929, the daughter of Phillip and Inez (Talbott) Pollert. She graduated from high school in Marion, ND. In 1947 she married Wilbert Wallner at Marion Methodist Church, and he passed away on January 7, 2011. Doris worked for many years at various companies sewing leather gloves, most recently Midwestern in Berlin. She would also help out on the family farm. She was a member of Faith Community Church in Berlin for many years, and also a member of the Berlin Senior Center. Doris had a passion for quilting, and also enjoyed gardening and traveling.

Doris is survived by her children, Connie (Rich) Strebelinski of Berlin, WI, and Harvey (Dorothy) Wallner of Kimberly, WI; grandchildren, Michael (Kristine) Wallner of Two Rivers, WI, Travis (Cyrina) Talbott of Hancock, WI, Tracey (Paul, Jr.) Soenkson of Wautoma, WI, and Jesse (Renee) Strebelinski of Fremont, WI; ten great-grandchildren; a brother Clifford (Ruthie) Pollert of Miles City, MT, a sister-in-law, Elaine Pollert of Valley City, ND; and other nieces, nephews, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Inez; her husband, Wilbert, and a brother, Duane Pollert.

A visitation for Doris will be held from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Faith Community Church, 200 S. Church St., Berlin, WI, 54923.

A Celebration of Life for Doris will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at Faith Community Church, with Pastors Ben and Terry Reiser officiating. Inurnment will take place at Oakwood Cemetery in Berlin. Memorials in Doris' name may be made to Agnesian Hospice Hope, 745 S. Street, Suite 4, Green Lake, WI, 54941.
