Donna Liefke

Donna Steineke Liefke, age 81, of Ripon, WI, passed away Monday, November 8, 2021, at Whispering Pines in Ripon, WI.

Donna was born March 23, 1940, in Green Lake, WI, the daughter of Ewald and Elva (Deibert) Ludjeck. She graduated from Brandon High School. Donna married Donald Steineke in 1963 at Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon and after his passing, she married Melvin Liefke in 2006. She worked as a manager at Card Castle. Donna enjoyed going to motor races, watching NASCAR and was an avid Wisconsin Badger and Green Bay Packer fan.

Survivors include two daughters, Diane (Jay) Rasmussen and Dawn (Harold) Brown all of Ripon, WI; granddaughters, Dahlia Rasmussen and Leighann Laybourn; grandsons, Kurtis Brown and Jared Rasmussen; great-granddaughter, Kaylee Grace Laybourn; sister, Doris Tetzlaff of Rosendale, WI; sister-in-law, Carol Hervey of Green Lake, WI and several nieces, great nephews and very good friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, Donald Steineke and Melvin Liefke; brother, Arlyn Ludjeck; sister, Luann Ludjeck; brother-in-law, Bert Tetzlaff, Jr. and step-son, Gayhart Steineke.

Visitation for Donna will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, from 9 – 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St., Ripon, WI 54971.

Funeral Service for Donna will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at 11:00 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon with Reverend Dr. Kevin P. Mundell officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Reeds Corners Cemetery in the Town of Metomen. Memorials may be directed to Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St., Ripon, WI 54971.
