Donald “Little One” Henry Doherty, age 68, of Fairwater, WI, passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021 at his home.
Donald was born August 20, 1953 in Neenah, WI, the son of Warren and Bernice (Nooyen) Doherty. Donald served our county as a member of the United States Marines. He married Judy Schultz in 1972 at Zion Lutheran Church in Fairwater, WI. Donald worked for 32 years at the Berlin Foundry. He enjoyed hunting, riding his UTV, spending time with his grandchildren and watching them participate in their sporting events. He loved being surrounding by his many friends and family.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Doherty; daughters, Tracy (Tanner Berkhotz) Doherty and Tess (Mike Winkler) Stellmacher; granddaughters, McKenzie Gilkes, Samantha Stellmacher and Taylor Stellmacher; brother, Dan Doherty; sisters, Patti Kok and Jane (Mike) Decker; sisters-in-law, Carla (Doug) Poortenga and Bonnie (Lee) Scheier; and brother-in-law, Randy (Lori) Schultz. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Bernice Doherty; father and mother-in-law, Omar and Ruth Schultz; and many aunts, uncles and other relatives.
A Celebration of Life for Donald will be held at a later date. A memorial is being established in his name.
