Doloris Jean Johnson, age 88, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away Monday, September 26, 2022, at Arborview Manor in Oshkosh.
Doloris was born April 15, 1934, in the Township of Utica, WI, the daughter of William and Mina (Trapp) Katzur. She graduated from Ripon High School and on January 15, 1955, married Robert Johnson at Grace Lutheran Church in Pickett, WI. In 1964, Doloris and Robert started their own business of Johnson Custom Meats in Pickett. Doloris enjoyed ceramics, loved casino trips and was an excellent baker. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Oshkosh and was a past volunteer at Mercy Medical Center.
Survivors include two sons, JJ Johnson of CO and Greg (Lynda) Johnson of Oshkosh, WI; daughter, June (Les) Achterberg of Ripon, WI; three grandchildren, Mindy (Jason) Miller of Menasha, WI, Nathan Johnson of Mt. Pleasant, WI and Sami Morey of Green Bay, WI and two great-grandchildren, Madisen and Blake Miller both of Menasha, WI and brother, Bud (Dorothy) Katzur of Oshkosh, WI. She was further survived by several nieces and nephews. Doloris was preceded in death by parents, William and Mina Katzur; father of her children, Robert Johnson; special friend, Geno Kimball; in laws, Irvin and Hedwig Johnson; brother-in-law, Charles (Irene) Johnson and niece, Karen Perdue.
Visitation for Doloris will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 9 11:00 am at First English Lutheran Church, 1013 Minnesota St., Oshkosh, WI 54902.
Funeral Service for Doloris will be held Saturday, October 1, 2022, at 11:00 am at First English Lutheran Church in Oshkosh with Reverend Jon Radichel-Wills officiating. Interment will take place at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Utica. A memorial is being established in her name.
