Dolores Walker

Dolores "Dorie" M. Walker, age 89, of Princeton, WI, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at her home.

Dolores was born March 9, 1932 in Princeton, WI, the daughter of Stanish and Maggie (Darnick) Resheski. Dolores graduated from Princeton High School and married Dale Walker on June 24, 1950 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Princeton. Dolores worked many jobs over the years, including her early work at the cigar factory and later on as a line worker at Speed Queen. She was an active and involved member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake, WI where she participated in a wide variety of church activities. Dolores also enjoyed bowling, playing cards, Yahtzee, Bingo, gardening and spending time with her family.

Survivors include her daughters, Dr. Susan (Terry Webb) Sneed, Janet (special friend Ron Moser) Teske, Mary (Glen) Otto, Wendy (Don) Bogdanske, Jeanne (Don) Sonntag, and Sandy (special friend Dave) Walker; son, Tom Walker; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Tom (Shirley) Resheski and Dominic (Joanne) Resheski; 1 sister, Jenny Mashuda; and sister-in-law, Audrey Resheski. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Stanish and Maggie Resheski; husband, Dale Walker; sons, James and Steve Walker; and 8 brothers and sisters.

A visitation for Dolores will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 9 – 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake, 530 Ruth Street, Green Lake, WI 54941.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Dolores will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake, with Father Peter Auer officiating. If you are unable to attend, you may view a livestream of Dolores’ service by visiting www.OLOL.center and click on the livestream button at 11:00 am on Tuesday. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Princeton, WI. A memorial is being established in her name.
