Diana Lynn Alvin, age 77, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at her home with her family by her side.
Diana was born April 22, 1945 in Berlin, WI, the daughter of Clarence and Lucille (Rhebein) Ailant. She graduated from Berlin High School and married David Alvin in 1964. Over the years, Diana worked as a stay-at-home mom, pharmacy technician, artist and seamstress. She also had a wide variety of interests and free time activities including baking, gambling, playing cards with her lady friends, and reading. Diana adored her grandchildren and cherished the time she spent with them.
Survivors include her daughters, Kelly (Norman) Basham of Santa Monica, CA and Jodi (Scott) Schmitt of Madison, WI; son, Christopher (Valerie) Alvin of Princeton, WI; and grandchildren, Samuel, Claire, David, Emmit and Eli. Diana was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, David; parents, Clarence and Lucille; sister, Judy; and brother, Sylvester.
A visitation for Diana will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 10 – 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
A memorial service for Diana will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023 at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, with Pastor Wesley Wassell officiating. A memorial is being established in her name.
