Dennis Roman Krueger, age 56, of Green Lake, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 5, 2018, at his home in Green Lake.
Dennis was born on April 22, 1962 in Sheboygan, WI, the son of Raymond E. and Audrey (Kral) Krueger. He attended Kewaskum Public grade school and then graduated from Northwestern Prep in Watertown, WI. He went on to study at Northwestern College in Watertown and then transferred to Carroll University in Waukesha, WI, where he received a degree in political science. Dennis then attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and in 1987 he earned his law degree. He worked as Washington County Assistant District Attorney from January 1988 through May 1988. Dennis served as Waukesha County District Attorney, and presently he served as Fond du Lac County Deputy Assistant District Attorney. He took great pride in his work. On June 26, 2017, he married the love of his life, Crystal, at Lakeside Park in Fond du Lac, WI. Dennis enjoyed tandem bicycling with his wife, running, cross-country skiing, playing baseball and football with his step-son, Dylan, spending time with family and friends, and he loved to travel. He was a member of Ripon Community Church in Ripon, WI.
Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Crystal; four daughters, Hannah, Leah, Mara, and Emma; his step-son, Dylan; his parents, Raymond E. and Audrey Krueger; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Warren (Rhonda) Schwandt; father-in-law, Thomas Toll; a brother, Raymond K (Joann) Krueger of Wausau, WI; two sisters, Mindy (John) Langman of Two Rivers, WI, and Megan (Kevin) Schniepp of Minneapolis, MN; five nieces and nephews; three great-nieces and nephews; and many other family, friends, and colleagues.
A visitation for Dennis will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Friday, May 11, 2018, at Ripon Community Church, 155 State Street, Ripon, WI, 54971, and again on Saturday, May 12, 2018, from 10:00 am until 11:00 am, also at the church.
A funeral service for Dennis will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Ripon Community Church, 155 State Street, Ripon, WI, 54971, with Pastor Jack Igel officiating. Interment will follow at Green Lake Center Cemetery, Town of Green Lake, WI. A memorial is being established in his name.
