Dennis M. Jozwiak, age 47, of Ripon, WI, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014, at Ripon Medical Center with his wife by his side.
Dennis was born April 25, 1967, in Marshfield, WI, the son of Edward and Elizabeth (Eilers) Jozwiak. He graduated from Stratford High School and went on to further his career at Fox Valley Technical College. In 1993, Dennis married Karen S. Fleischman in Spencer, WI. He owned and operated D&K Stainless, a welding company, in the Ripon area for 17 years. He learned to weld from his father and grandfather at a young age on their farm. Dennis and Karen enjoyed fishing with their dogs, Gabe Elliot and Isabelle Rose. Dennis had an avid love for flying. He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon and also the Knights of Columbus, Council #4877.
Survivors include his wife, Karen S. Jozwiak of Ripon, WI; mother, Elizabeth Jozwiak of Marshfield, WI; siblings, Sharon (Mark) Matz of Marshfield, WI, Paul Jozwiak of Marshfield, WI, Debbie (Jim) Anderson of Altoona, WI, Jim (Connie) Jozwiak of Marshfield, WI, Sue (Greg) Lenz of Kentucky and Lisa (Kevin) Lynn of Unity, WI and father and mother-in-law, Walter and Virginia Fleischman of Blair, WI. Dennis is further survived by many nieces, nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Edward M. Jozwiak.
Visitation for Dennis will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, from 9 – 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 415 E. Fond du Lac St., Ripon, WI 54971.
Memorial Mass for Dennis will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2014, at 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon. Reverend Robert A. Fictum will officiate. A memorial is being established.
