Deidre Hawse, age 73, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on May 16, 2020 at her home.
Deidre was born in Connecticut. She graduated from high school and went on to marry Robert “Bob” Lawrence Hawse, Jr. in Aurora, IL. She worked as a secretary for Western Union phone company and retired at the age of 52. Deidre was an avid fan of all sports, especially football and baseball, and loved watching her favorite teams on TV. She also enjoyed attending friends sporting events. Diedre spent her free time shopping and reading, making many trips to the Green Lake public library. She was also very involved with the Green Lake animal shelter and had a passion for all animals.
Deidre is survived by three sisters-in-law, Sue, Peggy, and Nancy; and many special friends, including, Julie (Jay) Held and their children, Jacob and Jayne, Linda Rather, Shirley Smith, Janine Rubeck and her Green Lake animal shelter staff, neighbors, as well as her friends from bowling and Little Corporal in Green Lake.
Per Deidre's wishes, there will be no funeral service. Memorials may be directed to the Green Lake Animal Shelter, N6217 Busse Dr., P.O. Box 86, Green Lake, WI 54941.
