Deborah "Deb" A. Winkler

Deborah “Deb” A. Winkler, age 70, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa, WI, with her family by her side.

Deb was born on August 28, 1955 in Milwaukee, WI, daughter of Phillip and Joanna (Spritke) Vogt.

Deb was a loving wife, mom, and grandma who built her life around the people she cared about. She and her husband, Rick, shared 47 years together, a marriage filled with love, partnership, and plenty of projects she was working on. Her son and her five grandsons were her greatest joy. She adored each of them and took every opportunity to make them feel special, whether through thoughtful gifts, celebrations of even the smallest milestones, or the comfort of her handmade quilts. Each grandson has a handmade quilt from Grandma Debbie, stitched with care and her own creative touch. Deb had a gentle, thoughtful way about her. She took care of people without making a fuss, and she was the kind of friend everyone felt lucky to have. She loved to bake, and her kitchen was often filled with cookies, bars, and other treats she shared generously with family, friends, and anyone who happened to stop by. She also loved crafting and sewing, and she poured her creativity into gifts, decorations, and little things that made life brighter for the people around her. Professionally, Deb served as the vice president of operations at Diverse Options, where she cared deeply for the people she worked with and the mission of the organization. Her dedication and compassion touched countless lives.

Deb is survived by her husband, Richard Winkler; her son, Nick Winkler (Leigh), and her grandsons, Oliver, Porter, Jude, Rory and Ryder Winkler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip and Joanna Vogt; and her brother, Donald Vogt.

Visitation for Deb will be held from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971, followed by a brief memorial service at 1:00 pm. A memorial is being established in her name.
