David “Dave” E. Page, age 72, of Neshkoro, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at ThedaCare Medical Center-Berlin.
Dave was born on August 10, 1953, in Berlin, WI, son of the late Earl Page and Evelyn (Friend) Weiss. He attended Berlin area schools and graduated from Berlin High School. Dave attended the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire where he met Nancy Lachman. The two married in 1972 and together had two children (Pam and Ben). They later divorced. On October 20, 2012, Dave married Michelle Reetz and they enjoyed several years of love, smiles, and making memories together before her passing in 2017. Dave worked as a forklift driver at Alliance Laundry Systems for many years before retiring. After retiring, Dave went on to work for the Green Lake area golf courses, mowing the grass and keeping the greens looking pristine.
Dave enjoyed being outside, especially if it was on the golf course with friends or family, fishing on the lake, or riding his side by side UTV. Dave also enjoyed hunting with his brother, grandsons, and nephew, Carson, and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle with friends. Dave was an enthusiastic supporter of all three of his grandsons, niece, Emmerson, nephew, Carson, and Michelle’s son, Josh Reetz, at many school sporting events. Dave shot a strong game of pool and darts and also enjoyed playing corn hole. He was a collector of many things, especially items connected to his family history, and would attend local auctions to grow his collection. Dave proudly served as Union President for the Steel Workers Union.
Throughout his life, Dave shared joy, laughter, kindness, support and smiles with so many. And he felt that same joy from those in his life as well. He is going be deeply missed and certainly never forgotten.
The family would like to express deep gratitude for the Mascoutin grounds crew, emergency medical responders, and the Berlin ThedaCare Emergency staff for their presence and quick action during Dave’s medical emergency.
Dave is survived by his daughter, Pam (Karl) Goldbeck of Onalaska, WI; his son, Ben Martens of Onalaska, WI; grandsons, Josh (Shaylyn), Matt (Raelene), and Nick Goldbeck; a great-grandson due in November; brothers, Duane (Ingrid) Page of Waynesville, NC, and Douglas (Amy) Page of Saukville, WI; nieces, Emmerson and Breah; nephews, Carson, Drew, and Carter; cousins; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Michelle; his father, Earl Page; and mother and step-father, Evelyn & Edgar Weiss.
