David Wayne Eiler, age 63, of Brandon, WI, passed away with his family by his side on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton, WI.
David was born July 28, 1958, the son of Carl and Jean (Carpenter) Eiler. He married Debra Badtke on December 7, 1985. Over the years, David worked at Rogersville Cheese Factory, hauled milk, owned his own insurance agency and was currently enjoying being semi-retired, driving truck two days a week for Alsum Produce out of Friesland, WI. David enjoyed the outdoors, and spent much time fishing, hiking and 4-wheeling. He loved going out to dinner and trying new restaurants, especially ones that could serve a good Kessler’s Old Fashioned. More than anything, David loved the time he spent with his family.
David is survived by his wife of 35 years, Debra Eiler of Brandon, WI; daughter, Nicole (Jonathan) Hollister of Brodhead, WI; son, Cody (Vanessa) Eiler of Randolph, WI; granddaughter, Madeline Hollister of Brodhead, WI; sisters, Linda (Jim) Mueller of Pickett, WI, Laura (Richard) Meyer of La Valle, WI, Deb (Doug) Norton of Green Lake, WI and Donna (Byron) Lowery of Hot Springs, SD; and brother, Leonard (LaVonne) Eiler of Montello, WI. David was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Eiler and Jean and Jim Fairbank; infant children, Joshua and April Eiler; and sister, Jean Eiler.
A visitation for David will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
A funeral service for David will be held on Friday, November 26, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Zacharias officiating. To honor the wishes of David’s family, please wear a mask while in attendance. Interment will follow at North Rushford Cemetery, Omro, WI. A memorial is being established in his name.
