Darlene J. Hupf

Darlene “DJ” J. Hupf, age 82, of Green Lake WI, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 at Kindred Hearts in Green Lake.

Darlene was born on June 29, 1941, daughter of Aaron and Lucille (Germer) Khort of Juneau where she grew up in a floral shop.

She graduated high school then received a bachelors in Sociology from Marian University of Fond du Lac. Darlene used her education to work in a woman’s prison and multiple group homes as a social worker. 

Darlene loved to paint, sketch, and design floral arrangements. She was a very talented artist. 

She is survived by her children, James Micheal Hupf, Kimberly Krystal Kirchoff; and sister, Jane Garvin. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Aaron and Lucille Khort; daughter, Kristine Kay Hupf.

A memorial is being established in her name.
